As part of our literal drive towards Net Zero we are delighted to report very favourable data from our 2 new all-electric Ford Transits. Firstly – our drivers love them – easy to drive, very comfortable and the vehicle supports the driver on best practice for driving style (which includes lessening wear and tear), live on each run!
Although initially a more expensive investment than our traditional fuelled vehicles the lower running costs, reduced emission, and zero congestion city charges, mean that by year two the cost will even out. At year three year each electric vehicle will have saved approximately £15,000 over its traditionally fuelled counterpart as well as a saving of between 40 – 50 kgs of carbon per week!
