We are incredibly fortunate to have a magnificent collection of art on the walls of our Wokingham office by various artists. This week we have added to the colour and interest of our surroundings with the incorporation of some well-chosen plants of various kinds.

What a difference it makes to the otherwise bland spaces and white walls. The addition of plants not only helps to express the culture and values of our company to visitors, but it also has health and business benefits, for example:

  • It creates a more attractive and inviting environment for staff to work in which can also help to reduce stress and increase productivity.
  • Research conducted by NASA has shown that indoor plants can remove up to 87 per cent of air toxins each day which can help to reduce sickness and absence rates.
  • They regulate humidity which is especially beneficial during winter when central heating removes moisture from the air.
  • Through the release of phytochemicals, plants suppress mould spores and bacteria up to as much as 50 to 60 per cent.

In addition to the above are the benefits of having artwork in our office. Flight Logistics staff are fortunate to have an interesting and healthy environment to work in.
