A recent trip to sunny Brighton reminded us of the joys and benefits of visiting artists, galleries, and other art spaces in person as opposed to online in the “virtual world” which has been necessary during the last two years of the pandemic and lockdowns.

Visiting galleries and talking to artists and likeminded individuals are things we’ve missed being able to do on a regular basis, however reliance on social media for connectivity and sales is something we obviously can’t ignore. The other thing we can’t ignore is the constant battle with algorithms that seem to change on a regular basis making visibility difficult to achieve.

We’re going to start freshening up our feed with a “Feature Friday” concept – sharing interesting art, artists, and galleries, encouraging visits, follows, and likes for each one.

If you would like to feature or share your information with our creative community, please email marketing@flightlg.com or DM us.

Kellie Miller Arts
Our first Feature Friday share goes to Kellie Miller Arts, a gallery that can be found in Brighton’s famous Lanes – here’s just a sample of 2 of our favourite pieces from the visit…

“Very large Red Apple” – Remon Jephcott | “Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer’s Day” – Mary Jones

Kelly Miller Arts has an online shop, but we highly recommend an onsite visit to chat to their knowledgeable staff and touch and feel the ceramics in particular. They offer art by local as well as global artists!

We will definitely be going back for a visit!
