E Commerce Returns Service

Over the last 2 years with the growth of E-commerce activity we have introduced new services aimed specifically at helping our clients that sell on-line to deliver more effectively to their customers.

In line with the exponential growth in the market, demand has grown for inexpensive delivery solutions that also offer the trackability of traditional private parcel networks. These new “post +” services had to surmount 2 issues –

  1. To successfully deliver to both home and business addresses within the UK and overseas.
  2. To simplify trans border processes avoiding unnecessary duties and taxes on arrival.

Combined with our in-house storage, order management and pick and pack services we already deliver a true end to end solution for any company selling through their website or online store.

More recently demand for a simple returns service has driven us to develop a reverse-ship mechanism and we are now able to offer this direct to the consumer throughout the UK and most of the EU.

In the UK we work with Royal Mail on their Tracked 48 and Tracked 24 hour services and we are now a registered Vendor on the Royal Mail website. Our E-Commerce clients simply direct their customer to find us on the Royal Mail list and create a label which they print and place on the returning package and pop in the post to come back into stock via the Royal Mail network.

Through our European partnership we offer a similar service in the following EU countries; Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. From January 2017 we will be adding Austria, Scandinavia and Switzerland to the returns network. Procedurally the mechanism is slightly different but equally simple – as soon as our client is notified that their customer wishes to return their purchase we produce and email a return address label which has a list of the 5 nearest drop off stores. Once dropped off the shipment is on its way back to Flight Logistics.

Our offering to our clients is developing in line with the best operators in the industry (both domestic and international) and as our clients would naturally expect, each movement is supported by our teams to provide tracking updates and delivery status of that movement.
