Maris Stella College, Sri Lanka, has a UK based Old Boys Association and one of its members is Flight’s Finance Director, Sam Senanayake. The association hosts events to raise funds for Sri Lankan based charitable projects and this year one of its members MMC Peiris – is taking part in the London – Cambridge Cycle Ride. It has been decided that monies raised from this event will go towards supporting a rural school in Sri Lanka.
The school has a list of basic educational equipment and kit that would improve the teaching and learning opportunities for pupils at the school – from a photocopier to exercise books, pens and uniform and everything in between!
