A world first for Sotheby’s and the art community.

The first ever piece of art to have been created from start to finish within a Sotheby’s gallery, was produced recently by Dean Stockton better known as D*Face, as part of last week’s “Against The Wall” project. A first in Sotheby’s 250-year history, the mural is a striking contemporary piece that stands 3m high and has a width of 2.5m.

Having already been chosen by Movember Foundation to transport more than two thirds of the artwork created by world renowned street artists to Sotheby’s (for the “Against The Wall” exhibition and auction), Flight Logistics – ShipArt^TM were invited back to St George Street, Mayfair to collect the mural at the end of the auction.
