The culmination of our collaborative efforts with world renowned  “urban impressionist” Dan Kitchener (DANK) over the past six months is finally on the road! You will spot the latest additions to our fleet on the roads of the Thames Valley and London – they are simply unmissable!
We asked Dan to work with us after we shipped a number of his pieces and became fans of his “urban impressionism†– aka impressionism with spray cans! Coincidently part of our ageing fleet was due to be replaced this year making it the perfect time to re-livery! Dan Kitchener’s unique style of art and method of expressionism lent itself perfectly to our corporate style in every sense of the word! What could be more accessible (and free!) to the public than art on wheels – sharing the imagery on the road?
Professional advice for art on this scale and on this medium was critical and we were guided by the vehicle wrapping experts at Mulgari Automotives (Bracknell) and Joyce Design ( Chelsmford) whilst Archive Media (Reading) are busy preparing a short film of the project for YouTube and Vimeo release.
Dan’s art can be seen throughout the world – more recently he has visited Cambodia and Canada and there is plenty to view closer to home – including the stunning 30 foot by 20 foot “Queen of Neon†in Brick Lane, London, the 65 foot by 80 foot “Spirit of Tokyo†wall in Bristol and a recent piece on the 8 storey high Custard Factory in Birmingham!
