The Other Art Fair, Saatchi Art, and curator Ben Moore united to help raise much needed funds for MAG (Mines Advisory Group) whose mission is to clear landmines and unexploded bombs from conflict-affected communities. So far the total stands at close to £30,000.
One small step can be the difference between life and death, and it’s this message that became the appellation for a unique exhibition that coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing in July 1969.

‘One Small Step’ exhibition

The ‘One Small Step’ exhibition featured 12 astronaut helmets (one for each man who has walked on the moon since 1969) transformed into works of art by 12 leading artists. The helmets plus a selection of limited-edition prints were part of an online auction hosted by Paddle8, with all proceeds going to MAG.

Participating artists

Anish Kapoor, Joana Vasconcelos, Alison Jackson, D*Face, Mr. Brainwash, Bran Symondson, UnSKilled Worker, Philip Colbert, Hayden Kays, Ben Eine, Dan Baldwin and Chris Levine.
