It has been reported that the changes in consumer behaviour, largely driven, of course, by widespread lock down and social distancing measures, will continue to stimulate e-commerce related logistics as the changed behaviour becomes habit for the longer term. We have watched orders for home fitness equipment and accessories surge in our own warehouse and as the lock down has continued people have looked more to vitamins and well being supplements in the continued quest to improve all aspects of personal health. As prolonged isolation and social distancing measures have prevented the celebration of friends and family events we have noticed an additional increase in on-line food and drink gift sales – in fact for the same period year on year our client has enjoyed a 667% increase – yes you read that right!
