The Belgian Federal Authorities are maintaining the maximum security level (4/4) until next monday 30/11 for Brussels and Suburbs. The level 3 (of 4) is maintained for the rest of the country with a possibility of an increase to level 4.
Public transportation, schools, universities re-opened on Wednesday with a high security control level.
All the city will remain under the control of the police and the army. For security reasons also, many hospitals will have limited access.
Brussels airport is not affected for the moment on the cargo side but security controls have been increased on the passenger side.
All of our collections and deliveries are being completed successfully, apart from those in the “strategic” areas (NATO, SHAPE, EEC, Ministeries district) where access controls have been increased.
As EEC is also on the maximum internal security level, all shipments delivered to them have to be fully screened at the central delivery point (1 RUE DE GENEVE – 1140 BRUSSELS).
