We often get involved when contemporary art and raising awareness/funds for a good cause come together. Elephant Family is a charity we are very familiar with so to be offered the opportunity to assist in a small way to help safeguard the lives and environment of the endangered Asian elephant, is particularly thrilling.

About The Animal Ball Art Show 2019

The event is an art exhibition and auction run by Elephant Family, and is fundraising to mitigate human-wildlife conflict in Asia. It will be open to the public from 9am – 5pm on Thursday 23rd until Friday 31st May. All funds raised from the artworks will power their conservation projects that focus on the most urgent, innovative, and impactful initiatives to secure the future of the Asian elephant. Some of the most notable names from the contemporary art world have donated artworks inspired by nature in the name of elephant conservation. From sculpture to collage, photography to neon, this iconic collection of artworks portrays the unfathomable beauty of our majestic planet, often alongside the painful complexities of human-wildlife co-existence.
 
Artists include Tracey Emin, Subodh Gupta, Rob & Nick Carter, Jake & Dinos Chapman, Joana Vasconcelos, Nick Brandt and Philip Colbert. All works can be previewed here and will be available to buy from Wednesday 22nd May.
