We can expect some delivery delays to Glasgow and its environs due to road closures and security measures for access to COP26. With effect from this week, pallet deliveries will be particularly impacted with only an economy (96 hr) delivery time available from 31/10/2021 – 12/11/21. This will in turn impact Edinburgh and the surrounding area pallet deliveries on the same network – transit times will be extended to 72 hrs.
Small parcel delivery networks are all forecasting delays to the following postcodes:
G1-15, G20-22, G31, G40, G51, G53
