Came across these Cornish characters in Porthleven, Cornwall, timeless, peaceful, and strangely comforting. There’s something about them that makes you stop, stare and feel at ease. That’s the power of public art.

“Waiting for Fish” (fondly called “Dave and Bird” by the locals), is a bronze sculpture by Cornish artist @holly_bendall. If you ever visit Porthleven, they’re perched on an old pillbox at the mouth of the harbour.
