The recent disruption to cross channel journeys caused by a combination of striking French Ferry workers and Migrant attempts to storm the facilities in Calais has finally been cleared and services are currently running as normal.

With priority being given to Passenger traffic, Freight movements have suffered the most over the last few weeks.

We are happy to report that we were able to implement contingency routings for virtually all of our consignments so that very few deliveries were affected.

We are continuing to keep a close eye on the situation, and are working with our linehaul partners to ensure that a smooth service can be maintained.
