Services – What services do you provide and what are your delivery options?

Ecommerce fulfilment – storage, web-based stock management (WMS), order processing, pick and pack, shipping.

Mail and Fulfilment – machine and hand enclosing of marketing material, exhibition packs, annual reports, shareholder mailings, newsletters. Secure data processing, printing, address data management.

International shipping – by express courier, deferred courier, airfreight, sea freight, road freight.

UK Shipping – by express courier, deferred courier, road freight, dedicated drives, timed deliveries

International Mail Services – standard mail, tracked mail, signed for mail service, e-comms specialist service – p-trak.

UK Mail – via Royal Mail – RM24, 48, signed for mail service, timed deliveries.

Delivery destinations – All UK – including Highlands and Islands. All international excepting conflict zones and restricted trade zones.

Tracking – How do I track my parcel / where is my parcel / can I have a delivery update?

Paperwork – what paperwork does my shipment need, how do I create a pro-forma invoice, how do I create a customs invoice, how do I create a commercial invoice, what is a statement of origin?

Q.
Duties and Taxes – who pays duties and taxes, can the shipper pay duties and taxes?
A.
Duties and taxes can be applied globally depending on destination country rules and rates, commodity and value and purpose of shipment. Rates very according to value, purpose, destination, and commodity. Visit our Forms page and scroll down to “De Minimis Value Per Country – Tax and Duty Thresholds.”

Shipments can be sent DDP (delivered duty paid – by the shipper) also known as DTP (delivered taxes paid) or DAP (delivered to point of entry – local taxes paid by consignee) also known as DTU (delivered taxes unpaid). See our Export Guidance webpage for more.

Volumetric – how are volumetric charges calculated?

Insurance – Can I insure my shipment?
A.
Not all shipments are insurable – Please see our Terms and Conditions. For an insurance quote please talk to our team or contact crm@flightlg.com

Q.
Size restrictions – what is the maximum size my shipment can be?
A.
Some oversized parcels incur extra handling charges – Please see our surcharge page for more information.

Q.
Weight – What is the maximum weight my shipment can be?
A.
For UK overnight courier deliveries, the weight limit is 25kgs per parcel (for manual handling). Royal Mail has weight and dimensional restrictions for some services – talk to our team. Freight and pallet deliveries subject to mechanical handling have a restriction of 500kgs per pallet.

Restricted items – What items can’t I ship?
A.
Precious metals, diamonds, and other stones
Bullion, money, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, cash-replacement cards, store and gift cards, travellers-cheques, securities, bonds, deeds, bank notes, treasury notes, stamps, event or travel tickets, and similar cash substitutes
Weapons and explosives of all kinds
Live animals and plants
Other restricted items can be sent subject to correct hazardous packing and labelling.

Packaging – can I pack my own art?
A.

Q.
Can you pack my art for me?
A.
Yes Please visit our art packing webpage, talk to our team or  contact art@flightlg.com for advice. The questions they will ask are:  The number of items. Dimensions of each (L x H x W). Description/medium of the item /s. Any glass? Is it framed? The final destination. Who is insuring it? (We take photos before, during, and after packing).

What is the cost to send my shipment?
A.
Tariffs are volume and destination dependant and are not published online. Please talk to a member of our team or email crm@flightlg.com

Q.
Invoices and payment – how often do you invoice?
A.
Invoices are issued weekly to credit account holders for shipping. Invoices are issued monthly for ecommerce fulfilment and storage. Invoices are sent via email to reduce paper waste and cost. Statements are emailed monthly. Payment reminders are sent every 30 days. Interest is payable on late invoice payment. Invoices are issued and must be paid prior to shipping for non-credit account holders or one-off shippers. Credit accounts are only available following completion of our credit application and approval (fill in our Account Form). Payment can be made by bacs, credit, or debit card.

Q.
Return Shipments – What is your returns policy?
A.
Undelivered shipments are returned to our warehouse if recipients are absent for delivery, do not respond to calling cards or tracking reminders. Our team will contact the original shipper for further instructions in this instance. If a recipient wishes to return a shipment to the sender, they must contact the sender in the first instance (this in effect is our client who will then instruct us).
