When Simon Butler of Migrate Art had to put one planned charity fundraiser on hold due to lock down he very quickly turned his thoughts to a pandemic opportunity presented by the face mask advice to the public.

If you need to wear a mask – why not make it “arty” and why not support a great cause. Simon’s artist contacts quickly agreed to create art designs, a UK based manufacturer was sourced – passing quality control testing and the rest as they say “is history” ! The project took off quickly, demand was way beyond forecasts, funds raised quickly went beyond initial targets and the simple act of collating orders, packing them and posting them soon took over the lives of everyone involved.

Our MD – Tracey Brown – had bought masks herself to support the project and spotted an opportunity to help with the logistics of processing orders, picking and packing and posting them on the scale that Migrate hadn’t anticipated. A couple of email exchanges later and we had offered to take on the mask order fulfilment FOC in order that Simon and Migrate could re-focus their energies on the charity.
