Artist Ken Nwadiogbu has two reasons to celebrate today
It’s a big day for artist Ken Nwadiogbu.
Not only is his solo exhibition ‘Journey Mercies’ opening today at The Bomb Factory (check out his Press Release here), but he also becomes #ShipArt #ArtOnWheels artist No.18! What does the latter mean?
Flight Logistics – ShipArt™ specialises in the collection and delivery of artwork, and we have developed a fleet of “art vehicles” in collaboration with artists who have all produced awesome work to wrap on each new vehicle.
We recognised Ken as the perfect fit for our collection and started preparations a couple of months ago, and it has been a pleasure to work with him to develop the latest vehicle wrap (below), along with our wrap partners Joyce Design. About his latest style of work Ken says “My newest body of work focuses on stories of migration. The creative driver of my works often derives from a facet of my life in relation to a larger context of the spaces that my expansive humanity occupies”. It’s very interesting to note that the faces that appear on our vehicle are those of his family and friends.
Ken’s #shipart vehicle No.18 outside Flight’s office in Heathrow.
No.18 starts its duties today and is out on the roads.
